About me
My name is Dario Raia and I am a restorer of wooden artifacts, in particular antique and vintage furniture but also antique doors and valuable artifacts.
I became passionate about the restoration of antique furniture in an antiques shop at the age of 20. I therefore decided to undertake university studies in Diagnostics and Restoration of Cultural Heritage at the “Suor Orsola Benincasa” University Institute in Naples, specializing in the wood sector.
I alternated the years of study with the practice in this shop, deciding then after the graduation, to open a small restoration laboratory and to work on my own.
Over the years I have expanded my skills ranging from restoration of antique furniture to renovation of ancient windows and not up to pure carpentry work on vintage
