Description: Classic chest of drawers in solid walnut and burr walnut in typical eclectic style.
Restoration: The dresser was completely covered by a widespread and pervasive black coating that in addition to distorting the appearance it had strongly influenced the preservation not allowing the wood to breathe. It proceeded immediately to remove the black paint, moving then to the woodworm treatment. Several of necessary carpentry work, both structural reconstruction of the missing frames. Were inserted keys suited to the cabinet in question immediately after repainted as needed shellac spagliettata later. The finish has been given to provide a wax to the cabinet a warmer and less shiny appearance.
