Antique French stipone in renaissance style walnut
Splendid cabinet in the Renaissance style. Probably French sixteenth-century bill. Solid walnut cabinet on the front, oak side panels, solid chestnut top. Back in chestnut and solid walnut with nineteenth-century and other more ancient elements. Important elements such as the frontal carving and some panels of the rear bottom would make one think of a sixteenth-century piece of furniture, but certainly in the nineteenth century it underwent important restoration works and the replacement of elements worn by time. However, I reserve the right not to exclude the possibility of a reconstruction in the nineteenth-century Renaissance style with the inclusion of more ancient elements.
