Superb Napoleon III style low sideboard.
Rich in decorations and applications, it is completely inlaid both on the sides and on the front. Superior original marble.
Various wood essences are used both for the decoration and for the central figures on the front and on the side faces. Bronzed applications on the entire surface.
The internal oak surfaces are also taken care of. The piece of furniture is original and complete in all its parts (see photo).
Restoration
As for the restoration, the piece of furniture was completely cleaned to restore the original brilliance to the wooden surfaces and bronze applications. It was then polished to a mirror finish as it originally appeared.
Excellent storage conditions.

My name is Dario Raia and I am a restorer of wooden artefacts, in particular antique and vintage furniture but also doors and valuable antique artefacts.
I became passionate about restoring antique furniture in an antique shop-workshop at the age of 20. I therefore decided to undertake university studies in Diagnostics and Restoration of Cultural Heritage at the “Suor Orsola Benincasa” University Institute in Naples, specializing in the wood sector.
I alternated the years of study with practice in this workshop, then deciding after graduating, to open a small restoration laboratory and work on my own.
Over the years I have expanded my skills ranging from the restoration of antique furniture to the renovation of antique and non-antique windows up to pure carpentry work on vintage furniture.
Thanks to this website and the presence on various portals for the sale of vintage and antique furniture, I have expanded my online presence by making my work known abroad.
